Cars bring us together. Giving back keeps us moving.
Led by President Sergio Monterrosa, Solida Car Club San Diego brings people together through lowrider shows, community cruises, picnics, raffles, and family-focused gatherings. The goal is simple: celebrate the culture while strengthening the neighborhoods we call home.

Recent community highlight
Six years of turning awareness into connection.
The Mario C. Rivera 6th Annual Suicide Awareness Lowrider Car Show & Bike Event brought cars, bikes, families, and community organizations together to honor Mario, share support, and make vital resources easier to reach.
25community resources joined the 2026 event—from prevention and wellness teams to youth and family organizations.

Car culture can open the door to care.
Solida works alongside community organizations—including the Center for Progressive Wellness—to connect people with resources in a setting that feels welcoming, familiar, and full of life.
At a recent Mission Bay picnic, a Solida-donated raffle prize helped bring people together, and part of the winnings went right back to the host club. Small acts add up when a community keeps showing up for one another.
